On March 17, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province confirmed that it had received a document from the enterprise requesting approval to implement the Quang Tri - Quang Binh inter-provincial bus route.
This bus route is proposed by Hung Thinh Quang Tri Company Limited to meet the travel needs of people and tourists between the two provinces, while creating convenient connections between areas, contributing to reducing the load on personal vehicles, protecting the environment, reducing traffic congestion and developing the public transport system.
According to the proposal, the bus route is expected to run from the center of Dong Ha City (Quang Tri) to the center of Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh), with a total length of about 130km.
The main stops include: Dong Ha City, Gio Linh District, Vinh Linh District (Quang Tri), Quang Ninh District and Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh).
The bus route operates from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm daily, with a frequency of about 1 trip/hour.
The buses used in the route will be environmentally friendly vehicles, ensuring quality and safety for passengers.
The main passengers of the bus route include people living and working in localities along the route, tourists and those who need to travel between the two provinces.
To implement the Quang Tri - Quang Binh bus route project, Hung Thinh Quang Tri One Member Co., Ltd. proposed that the People's Committee of Quang Tri province consider, approve the policy and support procedures related to the project implementation. If approved, the enterprise plans to name the route as "Binh - Tri Bus route".
Mr. Pham Suong - Director of Hung Thinh Quang Tri One Member Co., Ltd. said that, realizing that people's travel demand will increase, the unit proposed the above bus route, when completing the procedures, it will be implemented immediately to put into operation.
The People's Committee of Quang Tri province said that it will assign the competent authorities to advise on the resolution of the above proposal.
