Currently, model cars from 54 communes, wards, and special zones of Quang Ninh have gathered in Ha Long ward to practice, preparing to participate in the first event, the opening art program of Ha Long Carnival 2026 on the evening of April 30, 2026.
Each commune, ward, and special zone designs, creates, and constructs a model. Accordingly, units use trucks for decoration, construction, demonstration, and parade. The trucks are equipped with unit name signs, accompanied by design and decoration themes combined with images and graphic models showing the characteristics, cultural characteristics, and typical strengths of each locality. The theme is aimed at culture, heritage, colors of ethnic groups, Quang Ninh tourism, modern industry, civilized urban areas, sustainable development, integration and rising in the new era.
On the model car, there are speakers and auxiliary sound equipment; at the same time, applying modern performance technologies such as LED screens, mapping, dynamic models, lighting technology, laser effects... combined with street art performances to create visual highlights and enhance the experience for people and tourists.
From April 27 to April 29, 2026, the delegations gather vehicles, practice, preliminary review and general rehearsal. After that, the units complete the decoration to prepare for performances, parades and participate in the opening ceremony.
On April 30, 2026, vehicles participating in the performance, parade and opening of Quang Ninh Provincial Culture, Sports and Tourism Week to welcome summer 2026.
From May 1 to May 3, 2026, vehicles will continue to perform and parade along Ky Quan street (Bai Chay ward) and Tran Quoc Nghien street (Ha Long ward).
The Organizing Committee will award the First, Second, Third and Consolation prizes, along with cups, award flags and cash prizes to 54 participating localities who achieved results at the Contest.
