Lao Dong Newspaper published an article reflecting: Hundreds of parents are upset by the image of black pan oil in the cooking area of the boarding catering unit, My Giang Services and Trading Company Limited (My Giang Company).
After the reflection, the leader of Phuc Tho Commune People's Committee said that Tho Loc Primary School had changed the catering facility. Two other primary schools, Phuc Tho Town Primary School and Phuc Hoa Primary School, are also considering stopping the supply of this unit.

On August 29, 2025, Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Tu, Principal of Tho Loc Primary School, signed Decision No. 47/QD-THTL approving the bidding package for providing boarding meals for primary school students at Tho Loc Primary School for the 2025-2026 school year. The winning bid price is VND 2,727,000,000. The winning bidder was a joint venture between My Giang Company and Ba Vi Milk Processing Joint Stock Company (Ba Vi Milk Company).
Of which, My Giang Company provided Truong Tho Loc with 90.900 meals at a price of 25,500 VND/meal, equivalent to 2,317,950,000 VND. Ba Vi Milk Company provides 90.900 servings at a price of VND4,500/serving, equivalent to VND409,050,000.
On the same day, August 29, 2025, Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Hoa, Principal of Phuc Tho Town Primary School, signed a decision approving the results of the bidding package for providing boarding meals for primary school students at Phuc Tho Town Primary School for the 2025-2026 school year. The winning bid price of the package is 3,715,200,000 VND. The winning bidder was a joint venture between My Giang Company and Ba Vi Milk Company.
Of which, My Giang Company provided 123,840 meals at a price of VND 25,000/meal (equivalent to VND 3,157,920,000); Ba Vi Milk Company provided 123,840 meals x VND 4,500/meal (equivalent to VND 557,280,000).
On September 3, 2025, Ms. Do Thi Thuy Minh, Principal of Phuc Hoa Primary School, signed a decision approving the bid for the package of boarding meals for primary school students at Phuc Hoa Primary School for the 2025-2026 school year. The winning bid price is VND 2,003,400,000. The winning bidder was a joint venture between My Giang Company and Ba Vi Milk Company.
Of which, My Giang Company provided 66,780 meals at a price of VND 25,500/meal, equivalent to VND 1,702,890,000; Ba Vi Milk Company provided 66,780 meals at a price of VND 4,500/meal, equivalent to VND 300,510,000.
It is known that all 3 packages above are selected by selecting contractors in special cases.

The catering unit was established in 2023, with a charter capital of 2 billion VND

Affirming to Lao Dong Newspaper, Vice Chairman of Phuc Tho Commune People's Committee said that the incident at My Giang Company was a technical problem.
