Reporters recorded the scene, on the first day, in the area of station T1 (Km10+778, Tam Phuoc ward) and station T2 (Km28+450, Long Phuoc commune), units are carrying out construction items such as: removing the canopy, cutting and removing the steel frame to relocate the toll booth. Some traffic diversion islands have been removed, and machinery has been mobilized to handle the foundation of the pillar and concrete structure.
The barrier system, signs and operating houses were also dismantled, and materials were neatly gathered on both sides of the road to wait for transportation. During construction, many lanes were narrowed, and vehicles had to move slowly when passing through the area.

Functional forces are on duty to regulate and guide vehicles to move, ensuring safety when localized congestion occurs, especially in traffic directions with high density of trucks and containers.

The Provincial Department of Construction said that the dismantling of items including the entire station building, awnings, traffic diversion islands, pile foundations, signs and auxiliary works is to restore a ventilated ground according to the design scale of the route. Traffic participants are advised to monitor the situation, choose a suitable route and strictly comply with instructions at the scene.
According to the plan, the dismantling time is from the 18th to the 24th.
Previously, these 2 toll stations had stopped collecting tolls since 2023, but many items still exist, causing traffic obstruction and potential safety risks. After the investor, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Development Joint Stock Company (BVEC), agreed to hand over, functional agencies agreed on a dismantling plan to definitively resolve the prolonged problem on National Highway 51.
