Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway passes through Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces. Of which, Dong Nai province is the construction site for component projects 1 and 2, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau province is the construction site for component project 3.
Component project 1 is 16km long, from Bien Hoa city to Long Thanh district, invested by Dong Nai province; Component project 2 is 18.2km long, from Long Thanh district to the section bordering Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, invested by Project Management Board 85 - Ministry of Transport.
Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, said that Dong Nai committed to basically completing the site clearance of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project through Dong Nai by October 15. At the same time, Mr. Vo Tan Duc also requested Project Management Board 85 - Ministry of Transport to work in 3 shifts to "make up" for the progress.
According to Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, component project 1 has a total recovered area of 137.64 hectares/1,744 households. Component project 2 has a total recovered area of 151.5 hectares/1,803 households.
For Long Thanh district, up to now, the site clearance has basically cleared the route - ensuring continuous construction.
For Bien Hoa City, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project passing through Tam Phuoc and Phuoc Tan wards has so far cleared about 50% of the land; in the near future, Tam Phuoc ward will clear another 2.7 ha of land, then Bien Hoa City will complete over 85% of the land.
