On May 12, information from the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, according to the plan, 2 projects to upgrade and expand roads 769, 773 and the road 770B construction project will be simultaneously started in June 2026.
The project to upgrade and expand road 769 is nearly 30 km long, starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay ward; ending point intersecting with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh ward. The project is expanded with a scale of 6-8 lanes, total investment of nearly 5,900 billion VND. The project increases connectivity, shortens travel time from localities in Dong Nai city and the Central Highlands and South Central Coast provinces in general to Long Thanh airport.
The project to upgrade and expand road 773 has a total length of nearly 40 km, starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 (Km1789+300), ending point to Huong Lo 10 intersecting with Ring Road 4 HCMC, shortening travel time from communes and wards in Dong Nai city as well as provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central region to Long Thanh airport.
The project to build road 770B, more than 42 km long, connects the eastern and northeastern communes and wards of Dong Nai city with Long Thanh airport and Xuan Que - Song Nhan industrial parks, Bau Can - Tan Hiep industrial park, connecting the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, National Highway 51 and Cai Mep - Thi Vai seaport area (HCMC).
To meet the progress, the Dong Nai City Land Fund Development Center and localities with projects passing through are accelerating site clearance, by September 2026, the handover of the entire site to serve the construction of these projects will be completed.
To connect localities in the city with Long Thanh airport, according to the plan, Dong Nai city will implement projects to upgrade, expand, and build 5 roads including: 769, 769E, 773, 770B and the connecting road from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 HCMC.
