According to Lao Dong's records on May 5, at the Ring Road 2.5 project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section, the contractor has basically completed the section from Dam Hong to alley 192 Le Trong Tan street with a length of more than 300m.
Previously, on February 10, the section from alley 192 Le Trong Tan to the connecting point with Kim Dong - Giai Phong underpass with a length of about 1,280m was technically opened to traffic, serving the travel needs of people.
Currently, the starting point of the project at Dam Hong is still a dead end, waiting for the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section to be completed to maximize investment efficiency.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Hoang Mai Construction Investment Co., Ltd. - Hanoi (the project enterprise) said that by the end of April 2026, obstacles in site clearance related to 2 households (belonging to Phuong Liet ward) with a recovered land area of about 60m2 had been resolved.
Up to now, the work of collecting assets and belongings to serve the demolition of the project is being implemented by the relevant parties.
After receiving the handover of the final site, the contractor will immediately deploy the construction to complete the sidewalk item at the intersection with Tran Nguyen Dan street, ensuring progress and quality of the project.

The investment project to build Ring Road 2.5, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section was started in 2014 with a length of 1.6km, total investment of about 1,317 billion VND under the BT (build - transfer) contract form, expected to be completed in 2017.
However, the project progress was delayed due to problems in site clearance and waiting for BT contract extension.
By 2020, when only about 40% of the workload was completed, the project had to be temporarily suspended.
After 5 years of suspension, by the end of May 2025, Hoang Mai - Hanoi Co., Ltd. will organize a restarting ceremony for the 2.5 Ring Road project, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section.
The completed and put into use route will help reduce congestion, change the urban appearance, and contribute to socio-economic development in the southern area of the Capital.
