Ho Tram - Long Thanh airport expressway
The Ho Tram - Long Thanh airport expressway project is more than 42 km long, with a starting point connecting Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City and DT. 991 road, and an ending point connecting to DT. 994 coastal route Vung Tau - Binh Chau.
The route is invested with a scale of 8 expressway lanes, with parallel roads on both sides, 2 lanes on each side. The section passing through the Binh Chau - Phuoc Buu forest area will build an elevated bridge with a scale of 8 lanes to limit the impact on the natural environment.

On the entire route, 7 major intersections are expected to be built. The preliminary total investment is about 51,000 billion VND, of which site clearance costs are more than 9,155 billion VND.
The project is proposed to be implemented under the BT (build - transfer) contract, expected to be completed in 2029.
Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway
The Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway project is about 42 km long, designed with a double track gauge of 1.435 mm, maximum speed of 120 km/h.
The entire route has 20 stations, including 16 elevated stations and 4 underground stations. The preliminary total investment is about 84,753 billion VND.

Ho Chi Minh City has assigned Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment JSC to prepare a feasibility study report under the BT contract.
The project aims to start construction before June 30, 2026 and be completed in 2030, contributing to connecting the center of Ho Chi Minh City with Long Thanh airport by high-speed public transport.
Can Gio - Vung Tau sea crossing
The sea-crossing road project connecting Can Gio with Vung Tau has a total length of about 14 km, a scale of 6-8 lanes, combined with both bridges and sea-crossing tunnels.

The tunnel item is about 3.1 km long with 6 lanes, using reinforced concrete submersible tunnel technology similar to Thu Thiem tunnel. Two artificial islands will be built at both ends of the tunnel to serve engineering and exploitation.
The sea bridge section is about 8 km long, along with nearly 3 km of access road connecting both ends of the project. The total estimated investment is more than 92,600 billion VND according to the BT contract, expected to be completed in 2029.
Binh Tien Bridge and Road
The Binh Tien bridge and road project has a total investment of nearly 6,300 billion VND, including an elevated road about 3.1 km long with a scale of 4 - 6 lanes and a parallel road below more than 3.3 km long.

The route starts from Pham Van Chi street, crosses Tau Hu canal, Doi canal, crosses Nguyen Van Linh and connects to National Highway 50.
The project is expected to be completed in 2028, becoming an important radial axis, helping to reduce the load on many existing roads and increase connectivity between the center of Ho Chi Minh City and the South, along with Ring Roads 2, 3 and 4.
Cat Lai - Phu Huu inter-port road
The Cat Lai - Phu Huu inter-port road project to the HCMC - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway intersection and Ring Road 3 HCMC (HLD intersection) has a total investment of about 8.782 billion VND.

The road starts from Nguyen Thi Dinh street, near the Truong Van Bang intersection, nearly 6 km long, 60 m wide cross-section with 12 lanes, design speed of 60 km/h.
On the route, a large-scale Ba Cua bridge will be built including 2 units with a total of 10 lanes. The section from Phu Huu port to the HLD intersection will be invested in a 4-lane elevated road. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
Cau Thu Thiem 4
The Thu Thiem 4 bridge project across the Saigon River has a scale of 8 lanes, including 6 motorized lanes and 2 mixed lanes, with a total investment of more than 5,000 billion VND. The total length of the entire route is about 2.16 km, of which the main bridge section is about 1.6 km long.
The starting point of the project is on Nguyen Van Linh street, near Tan Thuan 2 bridge; the ending point connects Nguyen Co Thach street in Thu Thiem New Urban Area.

When completed by the end of 2028, Thu Thiem 4 bridge will directly connect the East and South areas of Ho Chi Minh City, while reducing pressure on Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Tat Thanh, Huynh Tan Phat and Nguyen Van Linh streets.
Ben Nha Rong Cultural Park - Khanh Hoi
The Ben Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi Cultural Park and public greenery project along the Saigon River has a scale of 147 hectares, with a total investment of more than 20,000 billion VND under the BT contract.
Previously, on April 29, Ho Chi Minh City started phase 1 of renovating and embellishing the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City branch with a budget of more than 1,200 billion VND. The project scale includes a landscape park, central square, public space along the river and many essential technical infrastructure items.

Phase two will build a multi-functional public park with community utilities, entertainment areas, passenger port and resettlement area for affected people.
Along with that, Nguyen Tat Thanh street will be expanded to at least 8 lanes, and Tan Thuan 1 bridge will be newly built to increase traffic connectivity in the central area along the Saigon River.
