According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at about 10:30 pm on August 26, after the victory of the Vietnamese team, a large number of people and fans carrying red flags with yellow stars flocked to the area of Hac Thanh ward - the central ward of Thanh Hoa province - to celebrate.
Roads such as Le Loi, Tran Phu, Phan Chu Trinh, Truong Thi boulevards were packed with people and vehicles. Many fans brought national flags, cheered, and moved through the streets to celebrate the victory of the Vietnamese team.
At the Le Loi Monument intersection area, functional forces are arranged in a circle to divert and regulate vehicles. Traffic organization has contributed to limiting congestion like some times people gathered to "go storming" before.
Although the number of people and vehicles gathered was very large, most participants still complied with traffic light signals and the regulation of functional forces.
At about 11:20 PM on the same day, the crowd continued to flock to the central area of Thanh Hoa province to celebrate the victory of the Vietnamese team.
