In Phu Quy special zone, there is strong southwest wind at level 6, gusting at level 7. The Gulf of Tonkin has showers and thunderstorms.
On the day and night of August 26th, the south of the Northern East Sea area (including the Hoang Sa special zone) will have strong southwest winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts of level 7-8; rough seas, waves 2-3m high.
The area between the East Sea and the north of the South East Sea area (including the north of the Truong Sa special zone), from Gia Lai to Ho Chi Minh City has strong southwest winds at level 6, gusts at level 7-8; rough seas, waves 2-4m high.
On August 26, the northwest sea area of the Northern East Sea has strong winds of level 6-7, gusts of level 9; strong rough seas, wind gradually decreases from night; sea waves 2-3m high.
In addition, the Gulf of Tonkin area, the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, from Ca Mau to An Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea, the eastern sea area of the central East Sea and the South East Sea area (including Truong Sa special zone) will have showers and thunderstorms. In thunderstorms, there is a high possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind at level 7-8, sea waves over 2m high.
On the day and night of August 27th, the area between the East Sea and the sea area north of the South East Sea area (including the north of the Truong Sa special zone), the sea area from Gia Lai to Vinh Long will have strong southwest winds at level 6, gusts at level 7-8; waves 2-4m high; rough seas.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2; especially the northwestern sea area of the Northern East Sea on August 26 is level 3.
All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
