Attending the opening ceremony were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra; leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST); leaders of Thai Nguyen province and a large number of people and tourists.
Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Luong highly appreciated the local efforts in exploiting cultural, historical and natural values to develop tourism sustainably, associated with the preservation of identity.
According to Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Luong, Thai Nguyen is a land rich in revolutionary traditions, possessing many potentials in ecotourism, community tourism, cultural and historical tourism with highlights such as Nui Coc Lake, ATK Dinh Hoa, and Tan Cuong tea region.
Organizing the 2026 Tourism Season with a series of large-scale cultural, artistic and sports activities not only contributes to promoting the local image but also expands regional links, creating more motivation to promote tourism and service economic development.
The opening program of Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2026 is built in the form of symphony art combined with musicals, contemporary dance, light shows, drone lights and large-scale art fireworks.
The art night includes 3 chapters with the themes "The symphony of Lake on the mountain - Tea in the clouds", "Sounds from the Capital of the thousand winds" and "The Epic Song of Thai Nguyen, a miraculous land".
The opening night brought together many artists such as Diva My Linh, singers Anh Tho, Vo Ha Tram, Hoang Hai, Duong Hoang Yen, Double2T and the Maius Philharmonic Orchestra.
Closing the program, the drone light performance combined with artistic fireworks in the Vo Nguyen Giap Square area created a highlight for the opening night of the Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2026.
