Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 103/CD-TTg dated October 7, 2024 of the Prime Minister, on November 15, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province issued a document on supporting businesses to overcome difficulties and promote production and business activities in late 2024 and the following years.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province requested the Department of Industry and Trade to proactively meet, discuss, listen to comments and recommendations from businesses to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses, especially small and medium enterprises, businesses facing difficulties in production and business according to their functions and authority; in cases beyond their authority, report to competent authorities for resolution. The province also encourages and supports businesses to promote the development of renewable energy and clean energy towards the development of a green and sustainable economy.
The Department of Planning and Investment of Dong Thap province continues to promote administrative procedure reform, improve the investment and business environment, create favorable conditions for people and businesses; promptly review, propose and recommend competent agencies to reduce administrative procedures in the fields under their management.
Regarding the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province requested the Department to direct the Employment Service Center to coordinate with enterprises that are lacking labor and related localities to organize propaganda on mass media so that the majority of people and workers who need to find jobs can grasp, register to apply for jobs or increase coordination in organizing job fairs at enterprises to attract local labor resources, meeting the labor needs of enterprises, especially enterprises in the seafood processing, garment, leather shoes, etc. industries.
