On January 29, Phuc Tho Commune People's Committee (Hanoi) had information on the progress of site clearance for the Van Phuc bridge construction investment project across the Red River and the road connecting to National Highway 32 section passing through the commune.
Phuc Tho Commune People's Committee said that this is a group A project, a level I project, of particular importance in the transport infrastructure development strategy of Hanoi Capital and neighboring provinces.
In which, the Van Phuc bridge project passes through Phuc Tho commune with a total length of 3.86km (the total area to be cleared in Phuc Tho commune is 21.29ha).
According to Hanoi's request, Phuc Tho commune must complete site clearance before January 31, 2026 to hand over to the investor, the Hanoi Traffic Works Project Management Board.
Clearly identifying the importance of the project, based on the direction of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Phuc Tho commune urgently focused on leading, directing, and mobilizing the involvement of the entire political system with the highest determination; ensuring unified, consistent, and timely leadership to remove difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process.
The Commune People's Committee proactively reviews and develops implementation plans according to specific timelines; clearly assigns people and responsibilities.
With a large volume of site clearance, while the implementation time is urgent, the project area has many specific characteristics, related to households and key civil works, the government identifies site clearance work as a key political task, requiring synchronous, drastic, flexible, and reasonable involvement.
Along with issuing specific plans and plans, the Commune People's Committee has organized direct dialogues with households whose land is recovered to publicly disclose information and clearly explain investment policies, regulations, and compensation and support policies in accordance with the law.
Not only stopping at focused meetings, the Commune People's Committee has actively coordinated with departments, branches, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and directed relevant agencies and units to promote propaganda and mobilize households in many forms.
Thanks to the democratic, public, and transparent approach, the majority of households expressed their agreement and support for the project implementation policy. Many households were excited, voluntarily handed over the land and soon completed the procedures to receive compensation money.
By January 27, Phuc Tho Commune People's Committee had handed over 21.29ha/21.29ha of land to the investor - the City Traffic Works Project Management Board. In which, 100% of the land in Long Xuyen area with a total area of 14.25ha (including 136 households and 4 organizations) was handed over; 100% of the land in Phung Thuong area with a total area of 7.04ha (including 193 households and 1 organization) was handed over, exceeding the city's schedule.
According to Phuc Tho Commune People's Committee, the results were also thanks to the consensus and support of the people whose land is within the project area. Many households expressed excitement and confidence in the Party and State's policies, and were willing to receive compensation and support money and hand over the site on schedule.
