During the day and night of December 1, the wind will shift from the North to the Northwest, continuing to maintain the intensity of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9; the sea will be rough.
The meteorological agency warns that on the night of November 30 and December 1, Khanh Hoa sea area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, whirlwinds and strong gusts of wind.
Ships and activities at sea are advised to limit going out to sea due to the high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
Also according to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, at 1:00 p.m. on November 30, storm No. 15 was in the northwest sea area of the central East Sea.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 9 (75-88km/h), gusting to level 11; the storm moves slowly in the North direction.
It is forecasted that by 1:00 p.m. on December 1, the center of the storm will be in the northwestern sea area of the central East Sea, about 270km from the eastern coast of Gia Lai - Dak Lak province. At this time, the storm will decrease to level 8, gust level 11 and continue to weaken.
At 1:00 p.m. on December 2, the storm moved to the sea area from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa, about 170km east of the shore, with an intensity of level 7, gusting to level 9.
By December 3, the storm weakened into a low pressure area as it approached the sea of Gia Lai - Khanh Hoa provinces.
