Rainfall measured at hydrometeorological stations (from 7:00 p.m. on October 6 to 1:00 a.m. on October 7) was generally from 10 - 40mm, the highest at Muong Lat hydrometeorological station was 172mm.

Due to the influence of the low pressure circulation weakened by storm No. 11, during the day and tonight (October 7), Thanh Hoa province will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms. The total rainfall is generally 20 - 40mm, in some places over 50mm. By October 8, there will be scattered rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms, whirlwinds, lightning and strong gusts of wind can break trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure; cause flooding of crops, saturize the soil, overload urban drainage systems, locally flood residential areas, traffic jams and reduce visibility when driving.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of October 7, the weather in Thanh Hoa province began to have heavy rain, some roads in Hac Thanh ward (the central ward of the province) began to be partially flooded.
