After the government submits a report, tomorrow, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council will consider and decide on the resolutions on the establishment of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of state management of religion from the Department of Home Affairs; establish the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology; establish the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs; establish the Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council will also consider and decide on a resolution to establish a Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; establish a Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; establish a Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the basis of merging the Department of Tourism and the Department of Culture and Sports; establish an Provincial People's Committee Office on the basis of merging the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Provincial People's Committee Office.
After the arrangement and streamlining, the provincial specialized agencies will reduce 7 agencies.
At the same time, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council considered and decided to establish the Cultural - Social Committee of the 7th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, on the basis of merging the Cultural - Social Committee and the Ethnic Committee; amending Resolution No. 03 of 2021 of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council in the direction of reducing 1 room in the organizational structure of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council.
Also in February 2025, the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee decided to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, end the activities of the Party delegations, Party executive committees, the Party Committee of the Party Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Party Committee of the Provincial Enterprises, establish the Party Committees of the Provincial Party agencies and the Party Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.
