On March 20, the Office of the City People's Committee issued a notice on the conclusion and direction of Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh at the meeting to listen to a report on the renovation of To Lich River and the renovation of the area on both sides of the To Lich River.
Accordingly, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh assigned the Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Construction; People's Committees of relevant districts and towns to continue implementing tasks and solutions to improve the environment, ensure the landscape of areas on both sides of the river; report and propose to the City People's Committee to consider and resolve contents beyond its authority.
The Department of Construction, People's Committees of relevant districts and towns will coordinate with the Management Board of the City's Infrastructure and Agricultural Construction Investment Project to complete the dossier, urgently hand over the site to serve the construction of the wastewater collection pipeline at the discharge gates (about 56 additional discharge gates) of the Yen Xa Wastewater Treatment System Project under construction; complete construction in August 2025.
Assign the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Management Board of the City's Infrastructure and Agricultural Construction Investment Project to study a plan to supplement water from the Red River to the To Lich River along Vo Chi Cong Street. Based on the optimal plan to be studied, the Department of Construction is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize a workshop to collect comments from organizations, experts, and scientists interested in the water supply plan to To Lich River to discuss, absorb opinions, complete the water supply plan, report to the City People's Committee for consideration, direction, and publicly announce it in mass media, to be completed before August 20.
Assign the Department of Construction to coordinate with the unit to propose a design plan to renovate To Lich River (Son Group Joint Stock Company) at the meeting on February 28 to clarify the investment plan, renovate To Lich River, investment methods ( socialization, BT or public investment), report the implementation results to the City People's Committee.
Regarding the renovation of the area along the To Lich River in Cau Giay District, the People's Committee of Cau Giay District was assigned to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to have more information on the arrangement of administrative units in the district. On that basis, the People's Committee of Cau Giay District, based on its assigned functions, tasks and authority, reviewed, proposed, renovated and renovated the area on both sides of the river to ensure convenience and inheritance.
