On the afternoon of September 29, Huong Phung Border Guard Station (Quang Tri province) confirmed that the Ho Chi Minh road, West branch, had a landslide, making it impossible for vehicles to pass.
The landslide at Km 201+ 500 at Sa Mu Pass, a large amount of rock and soil on the positive slope collapsed, covering the entire road surface.
Huong Phung Border Guard Station has placed temporary warning signs and notified the Road Management Department and local authorities to take measures to ensure normal traffic.
It is known that the Ho Chi Minh road, the western branch, passing through Sa Mu pass is the only road. When landslides occurred, traffic from Huong Phung commune to Huong Lap commune was cut off.
Currently, due to the impact of storm No. 10, there is still heavy rain in Huong Phung commune.
