On February 17 (ie, the 1st day of Tet), thousands of people and tourists flocked to Nguyen Hue flower street (formerly District 1) to visit and take photos with the mascot horse, creating an extremely bustling spring scene.

Right from the first day of the new year, the main gate area in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters has become crowded. The focus of attention is the large scene of the giant horse mascot about 11m high (including the pedestal). With the theme "Spring gathers - Steadfastly reaching out", this year's flower street is not only an admiring space but also shows the new stature of Ho Chi Minh City after merging with neighboring localities.

Along the pedestrian street, the walkways are crowded. At the miniature scene "One horse leisurely", visitors are excited to admire the nearly 7m high horse model. The special feature of this year is that the mascots are designed in a multi-colored style, using modern materials to create a different visual effect between day and night.
Besides the mascot of the year of Binh Ngo, the large scene "Radiant memories" with a giant trayed lantern (more than 6 m high, 6.4 m in diameter) is a favorite stop for many families. The rotating axis continuously recreates folk scenes, evoking national traditional values in the heart of modern urban areas.

Experiencing the metro from Thu Duc City for the first time to the center to celebrate Tet, Mr. Nguyen Van Lam shared: "Because I was afraid of traffic jams and sun, I and my children took the metro to the center to visit the flower street. This year's horse models are designed very soulfully and stylishly.
In addition to miniatures, the flower street also has booths experiencing folk culture such as to he, pottery making, coconut leaf folding,... attracting a large number of children and international visitors.

According to records, towards evening, the number of people flocking to the central area increased sharply. Some surrounding roads such as Ton Duc Thang, Dong Khoi have begun to show slow movement.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street for the 23rd time will continue to be open to serve people until 9:00 PM on February 22nd (ie, the 6th day of Tet).
