Road to Tam Dao landslide, police request people to temporarily stop going up the mountain

    Phu Tho Provincial Police have just issued a notice requesting people not to move up and down Tam Dao mountain.

    According to Phu Tho Provincial Police, currently, at Km22 National Highway 2B (road up and down Tam Dao mountain, Phu Tho province), there is a situation of landslides of soil and rock from the mountain down to the road surface, affecting traffic safety.

    The Traffic Police and Provincial Police are actively and urgently coordinating with functional units to overcome the incident in the landslide area.

    To ensure safety for people and vehicles, it is requested that people temporarily do not move up and down Tam Dao mountain (from Km13 to Km24 National Highway 2B) from 10:00 AM on May 21, 2026 and strictly comply with traffic diversion and guidance from functional forces.

    Phu Tho Provincial Police announced that when the landslide is overcome, functional forces will have a notice later.
