The Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) affirms to ensure safe and stable power supply during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Ceremony, April 30 and May 1, 2025, meeting the needs of daily life, production and organizing important events in the Central - Central Highlands region.
EVNCPC Deputy General Director Nguyen Huu Khanh said that EVNCPC has directed Power Companies and Central Power Customer Care Centers to deploy plans to ensure safe and stable electricity during the holiday.
Power Companies coordinate with the Central Power System Control Center to develop optimal operating plans, prioritizing power supply for locations for important political and cultural events in provinces and centrally run cities.
To ensure continuous power supply, the units will arrange flexible operating methods, ready to switch when there is an incident, not implementing power outages as planned from April 5 to 7, 2025 and from April 30 to May 4, 2025, except in cases of emergency incident handling.
At the same time, Power Companies will also arrange backup generators, increase on-duty operations at 110kV transformer stations to supply power to key areas, check and handle shortcomings of the power grid, and clear the route to ensure safe operation.
In addition, EVNCPC also requires inspection units to stop loads during the holiday, especially in industrial parks and export processing zones, to optimize the operation of the power grid, avoiding the situation of reversal of resistance capacity. The work of forecasting the load, adjusting the operating method appropriately to stabilize the voltage and reduce power loss is also focused on.
At the same time, units strictly comply with the power system operation regulation process, strictly control the mobilization of scattered power sources such as rooftop solar power and small hydropower plants. The electrical adjustment and repair departments will organize increased duty to be ready to respond quickly to the incident.
EVNCPC also emphasized the requirement for member units to tighten operational discipline, ensure labor safety and prevent fires and explosions during the holiday. The units will coordinate with local authorities, police and functional forces to deploy plans to protect the safety of the power grid and important infrastructure.
Central Power Customer Care Center increases the number of people on duty at the 19001909 switchboard to promptly receive and handle customer requests related to power supply.
EVNCPC Deputy General Director Nguyen Huu Khanh affirmed: Ensuring power supply during major holidays is not only a task but also demonstrates EVNCPC's responsibility towards customers.
EVNCPC requires member units to fully implement power assurance plans, while promoting inspection and supervision to operate the power system safely and stably, meeting the electricity needs of people and businesses. With careful preparation and synchronous solutions, EVNCPC affirms to ensure safe and continuous power supply during the upcoming holiday season.
