By 1:00 p.m. on October 28, 2024, EVNCPC had basically completed troubleshooting and restored power to all customers affected by storm No. 6 (Tra Mi). Currently, only a few flooded areas are being monitored by EVNCPC to ensure safety before resuming power supply.
EVNCPC General Director Ngo Tan Cu has directed its affiliated units to mobilize maximum forces, urgently on duty 24/7 to quickly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, helping customers in the Central - Central Highlands region to soon stabilize power sources to ensure daily life and production.
Mr. Ngo Tan Cu emphasized: "Immediately after storm No. 6, EVNCPC units immediately took action, overcoming difficulties to restore power to people in the safest and fastest way."
Up to now, 218 incidents have been resolved, restoring power to more than 689,345 customers, accounting for 14.4% of EVNCPC's total customers, accounting for 91% of the total number of affected customers. Except for some flooded and landslide areas that have not yet met safety conditions, EVNCPC has basically completed the recovery work.
With heavy rains still complicated in Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue, General Director Ngo Tan Cu requested to closely monitor the weather situation, check safety as the water recedes, and if safety is ensured, immediately restore power to customers. He further emphasized: "Restoring power is an urgent task, but ensuring safety for people and workers is the top priority."
EVNCPC units are currently ready to respond to heavy rain from storm No. 6 to ensure timely and safe power supply for customers.
