According to a report by the Hanoi Department of Construction, after 6 months of implementing phase 2 to expand the pilot scope, up to now, the whole city has 405 vehicle parking lots applying non-cash payment methods.
Of which, VETC Automatic Toll Collection Company Limited provides services at 234 points (including 134 points for cars and 100 points for motorbikes). Vietnam Digital Traffic Joint Stock Company (VDTC) deploys at 171 points (162 car parking points and 9 motorbike parking points).
Statistics show that the total number of non-cash payment vehicles reached 843,892, accounting for 94.9% of the total payment, a significant increase compared to 88.6% in phase 1. Meanwhile, the number of remaining cash payments is 45,172 times, equivalent to 5.1%.
For motorbikes alone, the number of payments using QR codes reached 565,954 (accounting for 93.1%), an increase of more than 7% compared to phase 1. Cash payments are still 42,253 times (6.9%). For cars, the cashless payment rate reached 268,938 times, equivalent to 98.9%.
