The Tam Bac River Embellishment Project section from Lac Long bridge to Hoang Van Thu bridge has a total investment of more than 557 billion VND from the Hai Phong City budget. The project started in October 2022, with a construction scale of the embankment along the Tam Bac and Cam rivers with a length of 819m made of reinforced concrete piles; renovating and expanding Tam Bac road with a length of 130.14m, roadbed width of 35m (section from Thuy Doi hamlet to Cu Chinh Lan road).
The project also renovates and expands Ben Binh road with a length of 187.86m, roadbed width of 35-55m (section from Cu Chinh Lan road to the intersection between Ben Binh road and Cam riverside road); renovates and embellishes Nguyen Thuong Hien road with a length of 130m, roadbed width of 13.5m and builds and expands Nguyen Thuong Hien extended road, length of 115m, roadbed width of 13.5m (section from Cu Chinh Lan to Tam Bac road).

After completion, the project contributes to completing the infrastructure of the area, creating a development direction, attracting tourism and service development, and promoting urban embellishment work of Hong Bang ward in particular and Hai Phong city in general.
Recently, inspecting the project progress, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau requested Hong Bang ward to urgently urge and direct the construction unit to accelerate the progress, committing to completing the project before December 31, 2025. Up to now, the section from Lac Long bridge to mom Thuy doi, nearly 560 m long, has completed the construction of piles and embankments, installed riverbank railings and painted 2 layers, creating a spacious and synchronous appearance for the entire route. The section from mom Thuy doi to Hoang Van Thu bridge is more than 250 m long, the water supply system, wastewater drainage, and communications are basically completed. The road surface has been renovated and expanded. However, according to Lao Dong reporters' records, on the morning of January 3, some items were not completed. Dozens of meters of sidewalk from mom Thuy doi to Hoang Van Thu bridge have not been paved or paved with stone.

It is known that the contractor is highly focused, fully mobilizing equipment, manpower, and materials, organizing many construction teams to achieve the goal of completing the entire project. In which, organizing 3 consecutive shifts, overtime construction, working weekends and holidays to complete sidewalk items, install lighting equipment and renovate technical details.
Mr. Doan Ngoc Huy (59 years old, Ly Thuong Kiet street) said: "The project has been implemented for more than 3 years, but it is now almost completed, people are waiting every day. Hopefully, in just a few days, the project will be completed and put into use, so that the area's appearance will be spacious and beautiful before the Binh Ngo Tet. People will also have more space for living, playing, and taking photos during this Tet.
