Generation Z entered the labor market with a prominent characteristic of loving freedom, flexibility and constant creativity.
When this "ideology" clashes with the State environment, which values standards, hierarchy and stability, no small amount of confusion has occurred.
Recognizing this reality, Bui Sao Linh (born in 1999, from Hoa Binh), currently working at the Party Committee of Hoang Mai ward (Hanoi City) shared a frank perspective: "Being a State is working according to the law and documents. Everything must be in accordance with the process, from the submission stage to implementation, so sometimes you will feel lacking in flexibility and breakthrough creativity. If you are someone who likes freedom and soaringness, you may feel constrained.
However, instead of considering it a barrier, the young female official views the public environment as a "furnace" to perfect important soft skills.
If you want to train meticulousness and patience, this is a very good environment," Linh affirmed.

In addition, the working culture in administrative agencies today has become much more open. The youthfulness and sensitivity to technology of Gen Z are becoming valuable assets in the context of localities promoting e-government.
At Sao Linh's agency, young officials are regularly assigned key tasks on digital transformation by leaders, encouraging writing initiatives and experiences.
Leaders have also changed their thinking now, they are very open, so when I go to work, I also feel comfortable and have space to contribute," she added.
An undeniable reality is that the concept of "stability" of the State payroll is no longer a universal magnet to attract young talents like previous generations.
As living expenses increase, the income problem becomes a factor that many young people consider.
Senior Lieutenant Lo Van Van (born in 1999, currently working at the Political Department, Border Guard of Son La province), gave a very realistic perspective from his generation: "Young people now, instead of choosing to be stable with the State's salary, mostly choose freedom to be satisfied with creative and dynamic jobs on digital platforms, bringing higher incomes.
Previously, people wanted to be stable because salaries met life's needs. But now, that salary level sometimes only stops at meeting the needs and is not enough to have a surplus.
Although understanding the shift in professional thinking, Senior Lieutenant Lo Van Van is still steadfast in the path he has chosen.
For him, putting on the Border Guard uniform does not come from the desire to find a safe area, but from personal ideals.
I feel proud and am dedicating myself wholeheartedly, because I have been determined and made a lot of effort to get this position," Senior Lieutenant Van expressed.
The interesting point is that time constraints or iron discipline in the armed forces do not extinguish the dynamic fire of a Gen Z. To solve the problem of personal passion and increase legitimate income, the young Senior Lieutenant chose a "multi-tasking" lifestyle.

In addition to stressful working hours and excellent completion of professional tasks, he still works as a fitness trainer and is a content creator on social networks.
The story of Bui Sao Linh or Senior Lieutenant Lo Van Van is a clear proof of the portrait of the new generation of civil servants, public employees, and armed forces.
They are not afraid to venture into a strict environment, know how to take advantage of discipline to hone their expertise, and at the same time still maintain the dynamic and flexible personal identity of a Gen Z genuine.
