Lang Son - The Provincial People's Committee has just approved a spending of 165 million VND to attract a female Gen Z technology graduate, graduating with honors, to work at a state agency.

On May 16, according to Lao Dong's source, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just approved spending 165 million VND to attract a female technology graduate born in 1999, graduated with honors, to work at a state agency.

Accordingly, the province applies an attraction policy for Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai, born in 1999. Ms. Mai is a bachelor of Software Technology, graduated with honors from the regular system of the University of Electricity in March 2025.

This Gen Z female graduate has been received and assigned to work at the Department of Science and Technology of Lang Son province, recruitment time from February 2026.

Regarding the preferential treatment policy, the basic attraction payment level for Ms. Mai is 150 million VND. In addition, with the priority policy, because the attraction target is women, she is given an additional 10% benefit level, equivalent to 15 million VND. The total amount of support from the budget to "lay the red carpet" to recruit this young female engineer is 165 million VND.

To implement the payment, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Finance to submit a decision to supplement the 2026 budget estimate to the Department of Science and Technology.

Provincial leaders also requested the Director of the Department of Science and Technology to be fully responsible before the law and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the accuracy of this payment request dossier.

The "bold" spending of budget to invite young and professionally skilled personnel is implemented by Lang Son based on Resolution No. 42/2025/NQ-HDND.

The move to receive good software experts also shows the practical step of Lang Son to supplement quality human resources, meeting the requirements of digital transformation and science and technology development of the locality.
