Gia Lai abolishes 12 administrative procedures on land and environment

Gia Lai - The repeal of unnecessary administrative procedures aims to improve the investment environment and facilitate businesses in the province.

On March 19, Mr. Rah Lan Chung - Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee signed a decision to abolish 12 administrative procedures in the fields of land, construction and environment under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

In the land sector, 5 procedures related to land allocation and lease in economic zones and industrial parks will be abolished.

In the construction sector, 6 procedures are abolished such as granting new, extending, adjusting construction permits and appraising construction design.

As for the environmental sector, the province decided to remove the registration procedure and re-register the environmental protection plan.

The Provincial People's Committee requested the Economic Zone Management Board to coordinate with the Public Administration Service Center to publicly remove these procedures on the website and at the center.

At recent sessions of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council, many delegates proposed to abolish cumbersome and unnecessary administrative procedures to attract businesses to invest.

Thereby, saving efforts and costs for businesses, to create and promote the development of the private economy.
