On August 28, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - signed a decision to send cadres, civil servants and public employees to strengthen the communes.
Of the 11 transferred cadres, civil servants and public employees, the majority are currently working at the Branch of the Land Registration Office, the Public Administration Service Center, the Department of Construction, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions... They have university degrees in Land Management, Accounting, Finance - Banking.
Those who are strengthened will directly grasp the situation, guide, support, remove and resolve problems arising in the locality during the operation of the two-level government. The period of increase is from 3 to 6 months, starting from September 3, 2025.
Officials and specialists must develop a work program and work settlement process in accordance with legal regulations, and are responsible for training and fostering personnel on the spot. The province will have a separate support mechanism for this force when going to the grassroots.
In the context of implementing the two-level government model, many localities in Gia Lai are facing difficulties due to lack of qualified human resources, mainly in the fields of land, construction and policy implementation.
Meanwhile, the Gia Lai provincial government is focusing resources on compensation and site clearance to construct key projects that are development drivers such as the North-South high-speed railway, Quy Nhon - Pleiku high-speed, along with processing - production industrial parks and clusters.
Having a team of staff and experts with knowledge of the job and expertise will help speed up progress, especially in public investment procedures, compensation, and clearance in project areas.
