On the morning of August 15, in Ho Chi Minh City, the car driver training model integrated with artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality, simulation technology and big data was officially introduced. This is the first time the city has applied modern technology to this field, opening a new approach to the management and operation of road traffic on a digital platform.
The launching ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, the Traffic Police Department (PC08), Ho Chi Minh City Police; automobile and passenger transport associations and a number of related units.

According to Mr. Bui Hoa An, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, the initial solution applies training for grades B (mechanical numbers, automatic numbers, electric vehicles...) and C1. This application is the result of more than 4 years of cooperation between Hiep Phat Automobile Company Limited, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Computer Engineering Center and Viettel, to optimize management and improve the quality of driver training.

According to Mr. Bui Hoa An, this solution is also a breakthrough in the digital transformation strategy of the driver training industry in Vietnam, meeting the latest legal requirements, while also in line with the spirit of Resolutions 57 and 68 of the Central Committee on developing science and technology, innovation and developing the private economy in localities, including Ho Chi Minh City.

MSc. Nguyen Dinh Manh - Member of the Board of Directors of Hiep Phat Automobile Company Limited, representative of the solution initiative unit, said that the new system helps to publicize and make the testing process transparent, shorten training time and costs; supplement fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue skills; equip knowledge of law, ethics and traffic culture through real-life simulation situations.
Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction Mr. Bui Hoa An hopes that from this platform, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to welcome more digital transformation models and AI application approaching international standards, contributing to improving the quality of human resources for drivers and ensuring traffic safety for the city as well as the whole country.
