In recent times, the two provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum have promoted administrative reform and improved the investment environment.
The provincial leaders have decided to cut cumbersome and unnecessary administrative procedures to create the most favorable conditions for people and businesses to participate in investment and private economic development.
Regarding the settlement of administrative procedures for people and businesses, the authorities of the two provinces have issued an official dispatch to remind and rectify the operations of the District Land Registration Office and the One-stop Department at the Public Administration Service Center.
In Kon Tum, through review, in just two months of March and February 2025, in 7 districts and cities in the area, 81 dossiers were delayed.
The pending documents are mainly at the Branches of the Land Registration Office of districts such as Kon Plong, Kon Ray, Ngoc Hoi, Dak Ha, Dak To, Sa Thay and Kon Tum city.
If this situation continues, it will affect the rights of people and businesses as well as the level of satisfaction with public administrative procedures. Therefore, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Kon Tum province has issued a document requesting to rectify the delay in handling documents.
The leaders of the department requested strict handling according to regulations for cadres and civil servants who have committed harassment or whose records have been delayed many times.
At the same time, 100% of overdue administrative procedures must have an explanatory report sent to the head of the agency or unit. The file processing officer must prepare an apology form and reschedule the date to return the results to the people.
In Gia Lai, the taking of the sequential number at the One-stop-Stop Department at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center is still chaotic, causing disorder and making people angry. Administrative procedure guidance is still delayed, some officials have not strictly followed the working time.
Mr. Rah Lan Chung - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - requested departments, branches and sectors to coordinate with the Public Administration Service Center to promptly rectify. Civil servants and public employees at the Center must strictly comply with working hours, and this will be one of the criteria for annual assessment and classification.
