There was a time when I planned to let my child stay home from school to help my parents. But thanks to the timely encouragement and help of the Y Ut Bya village elderly, everything gradually changed.

According to Ms. H'Ben, Mr. Y Ut Bya not only came to the house to encourage and motivate but also worked with the young man in the village to repair the dilapidated roof.

In particular, Mr. Y Ut Bya also introduced a job to Ms. H'Ben's husband who works in construction to have a stable income. Thanks to that, Ms. H'Ben stays at home growing rice, sugarcane, beans and raising livestock to improve her family's economy.

According to Ms. H'Cua Mlo - President of the Women's Union of Ea Trang commune shared: ''During the complicated period of the COVID-19 epidemic, when people were confused and worried, it was the village elders and village chiefs who were always steadfast, promptly reassuring their spirits, sharing correct information, helping people feel secure.

Not stopping there, prestigious people like the village elders of Y Ut Bya also play a core role in the work of promoting the law in the locality. Including forest protection, ensuring traffic safety, building great national unity to raise awareness of gender equality.

In particular, the old Y Ut Bya has actively encouraged people to abandon the backward customs of getting married, a problem that has caused many families to fall into debt and poverty for a long time.

Mr. sti Nie, a young man in the village, shared: "Previously, weddings often required a very high wedding fee, many buffaloes and cows, sometimes up to hundreds of millions of VND. This has caused many young people who are not economically qualified to suffer debt, affecting their long-term happiness".

Faced with this situation, the old man Y Ut Bya went to each resident's house to analyze and give sincere advice. He emphasized: "Only when a simple proposal is made, without financial pressure, can a young couple build a stable life, and their children have the conditions to study and grow up".
