Improving service quality
From March 1, 2025, Quang Binh Provincial Police officially deployed a 2-level police organization model, including the provincial and commune levels, no longer organizing district-level police. This not only helps streamline the apparatus but also improves the efficiency of serving people and businesses, while ensuring security and order throughout the province.
According to the new model, the police at the commune, ward and town levels will receive and directly handle administrative procedures for people, and are responsible for ensuring security and order at the grassroots level.
Dong Phu Ward Police (Dong Hoi City) is one of the typical points in implementing this model. According to Captain Nguyen Kien Giang - Deputy Head of Dong Phu Ward Police, although some new tasks from the district-level Police have been transferred down, the Ward Police have proactively arranged and met the needs of the people, especially the procedures for registering motorbikes.
The unit has carefully prepared the process of receiving the new job, while renovating the headquarters and arranging a more spacious and convenient citizen reception area.
This new model helps reduce the administrative burden for people when they do not have to travel far to complete procedures. Mr. Duong Dang Cach - a resident of Dong Phu ward - said that reorganizing the apparatus helps people save time and costs, while improving the quality of administrative services at the facility.
Ensuring security and order at the grassroots level
In particular, Quang Binh Provincial Police also established 10 special patrol teams with the participation of Traffic Police, Mobile Police and Commune and Ward Police.
These working groups are responsible for patrolling, controlling security and order, and strictly handling traffic violations and crimes at the grassroots level.
The Traffic Police Department, Quang Binh Provincial Police said that deploying special patrol teams is part of a comprehensive security protection strategy in communes and wards, ensuring no interruption in ensuring order.
Based on the basic survey and investigation of all routes and areas to prepare a plan and develop a suitable plan. The arrangement of special working groups will arrange forces and means, coordinate with the police force of communes and wards, at the grassroots level to close the area.
Quang Binh Provincial Police said that after the reorganization of the apparatus, the work of the Public Security force has not been interrupted. The tasks continue to be effectively implemented, the quality of service to people and businesses has been improved.
Despite some initial difficulties, with careful preparation and consensus of the entire force, Quang Binh is moving towards a streamlined but effective police model.
