In order to share, support and motivate students in the high school graduation exam, as well as the entrance exam and admission to universities, academies, colleges, high schools and vocational training in 2025, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company has implemented a preferential program of 10% discount on train fares on all passenger trains.
The subjects of application are students taking the high school graduation exam, taking the exam and entering universities, academies, colleges, vocational high schools and vocational schools.
Accordingly, for each exam report (or exam card) and admission report, students are allowed to buy 1 ticket for themselves and 1 ticket for relatives to travel with, applicable for one departure and one return.
Students need to provide exam reports, exam cards, admission reports and valid identification documents, or personal information on the VNeID application. Tickets are sold at railway stations (not applicable to online ticket purchases).
According to Mr. Dao Anh Tuan - General Director of Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, the ticket discount program for students to take exams and enroll in 2025 is the sentiment and sharing of the collective of railway staff with the desire to add motivation and reduce some of the cost burden for students and their families on the journey to conquer knowledge.

The program is applied from May 28, 2025 to October 31, 2025.
