According to Lao Dong, at around 8:00 p.m., the central area of Ho Chi Minh City had heavy rain, causing the international 3D mapping art program taking place in front of the headquarters of the People's Council - People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to be temporarily suspended. Many people are still staying in the Nguyen Hue walking street area (District 1) waiting to see.
At 8:05 p.m., after the rain stopped, the program resumed.
"Although it was raining, I still waited to see this special performance because I missed it last time. The atmosphere here is quite bustling, I am very proud to attend Ho Chi Minh City events during the 30/8 holidays - Ms. Thuy Dieu (living in District 4) shared.
Present at the walking street since the afternoon, Mr. To Hung (living in Thu Duc City) said: "We were here early to have a good location to watch this performance. The recreations are magnificent and extremely emotional".
The 3D mapping art program recreates a Ho Chi Minh City that is both ancient, rich in historical traditions, dynamic, and full of aspirations to rise up.
From 9:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Ho Chi Minh City will organize a drone art performance in the form of high-altitude flight, arranged into images with symbols showing the development process of Ho Chi Minh City. The location of the drone art performance is in the high-altitude space of the Saigon River area (in front of Nguyen Hue Street).
At 9:45 p.m., there will be a fireworks display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
