On February 6, Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee directed units to clarify the matter of teachers not receiving bonuses according to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP dated June 30, 2024.
According to the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, Decree 73 regulates many subjects, including teachers.
The Department of Finance has instructed educational units to use the 10% salary savings fund. In case of shortage, it will submit to the People's Committee and People's Council for additional funding.
However, very few units proposed additional funding, so the Department of Finance had to wait to submit to the Provincial People's Council.
Meanwhile, Decree 73 stipulates annual bonuses for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces.
These bonuses are intended to encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces to perform well.
Calculating annual bonuses for staff and teachers is based on the level of task completion.
Article 4, Clause 4 of Decree 73 stipulates: By January 31 of the following year, if an agency or unit has not used up the year's bonus fund, it cannot transfer the source to the following year's bonus fund.
However, until now, February 6, many teachers have not received their bonuses. This makes them worried.
