Teacher Do Ngoc Kien, Tran Quoc Toan Primary School (Cu M'gar district), expressed his joy and excitement when receiving a bonus of 4.2 million VND.
In addition, he also received more than 1 million VND according to the regime of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and the school. "Two days ago, the phone rang with the news of receiving the year-end performance bonus according to Decree 73. Overwhelmed with happiness, my teachers and I texted each other to express our joy," Mr. Kien shared.
With the bonus, Mr. Kien will buy more food for Tet and save some to show gratitude to his parents. He considers this as motivation to continue to strive in teaching.
Ms. Ton Nu Thu Nga, Principal of Hoa Thien Ly Kindergarten (Vu Bon Commune, Krong Pac District) said that the school has paid achievement bonuses according to Decree 73.
The total bonus that the teachers in the whole school received was over 150 million VND. Receiving the bonus, the teachers were very happy because they had an extra amount to prepare for Tet.
Bonuses under Decree 73 are a motivation for teachers to continue to strive and contribute to the education career.
Previously, on June 30, 2024, the Government issued Decree 73/2024/ND-CP stipulating the basic salary and bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces.
However, by early January 2025, the deadline for paying bonuses in 2024 according to Decree 73 is about to expire, but some districts in Dak Lak province have not yet finalized a plan for teachers.
The reason is that many agencies and units do not have the funds to spend. Therefore, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance has advised to allocate more than 60 billion VND to departments and 3 districts (Krong Bong, Ea Sup, Buon Don).
At the same time, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee directed localities and departments to promptly pay benefits to officials, civil servants and employees in accordance with Decree 73.
