Some people go with their families, bringing both elderly people and young children; some groups of friends prepare clothes and accessories in advance, spending time looking for beautiful shooting angles. Many people take advantage of favorable and cool weather after rain to take commemorative photos for National Day.
This is the first time I have come to Ba Dinh Square to take photos right on September 2nd. Before that, I saw many friends posting photos here, so I also wanted to experience it myself. Arriving there, I saw a very different atmosphere, everyone was wearing traditional costumes, carrying flags, looking very beautiful and feeling excited to wait for National Day," shared Vu Diem Quynh (Hanoi).
For many people, Ba Dinh Square is a special place because it is associated with important milestones of the country. Therefore, a photo set taken here on September 2nd brings more emotions than a normal sightseeing trip.
“I think the most special thing is that everyone came here for a common occasion. Going around, I saw many young people wearing ao dai, holding flags to take pictures, the atmosphere was fun but there was still the solemnity of this location. I want to save moments like this so that when I look back, I still remember how I welcomed September 2 this year," Pham Thi Phuong shared.
According to photographers, as National Day approaches, the number of customers coming to take photos tends to gradually increase. Many young people actively book appointments in advance to choose time frames, costumes and have time to take photos according to their wishes.
Photographers said that the number of bookings this year is not as high as at the same time last year. However, the days near September 2 are forecast to still be bustling times, when many people take advantage of favorable weather to capture moments during the National Day holiday.
The photo sets taken on this occasion have many different ways of expression, but share one thing: the colors of National Day. Some wear ao dai, some hold flags, some choose simple outfits but still want to save a memorable milestone.
The closer to September 2nd, the more bustling Ba Dinh Square becomes. In the flow of people coming to take photos, each person brings their own story, contributing more color to the Hanoi atmosphere in the days towards National Day.
