Along with the An Giang Provincial Police strengthening forces for border communes and wards, in order to contribute to maintaining absolute security and safety to serve the 14th National Party Congress taking place, Chau Doc Ward Police have proactively and creatively and synchronously and drastically implemented many working measures, maintaining political security, social order and safety on the border line as well as inland.
Accordingly, Chau Doc Ward Police proactively advised the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward and developed plans and plans to protect from early and far. On that basis, each officer and soldier was arranged to closely follow the area, on duty on key routes and areas to promptly handle arising situations, not to let hotspots for security and order form.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Trung Dung - Head of Chau Doc Ward Police - said: "Chau Doc Ward Police are on 100% duty according to the direction of the Provincial Police Director. We have also invited Heads of 36 hamlets to deploy and coordinate with the Police force to do a good job of grasping the situation right from the grassroots level; advise Party committees and local authorities to direct the entire ward political system to participate in grasping the situation and coordinate to ensure security and order. The ward police develop a plan to coordinate with Vinh Nguyen Border Guard Station and the Ward Military Command to organize patrols on the border line, in order to promptly detect and prevent violations on the border line.
Domestically, the Ward Police mobilized maximum forces and vehicles to organize continuous patrols; directed 36 people's patrol teams of hamlets to maintain night patrols. Specifically for areas with complex crimes, we have arranged fixed checkpoints to be on duty. Directing the entire force to strongly attack crimes and social evils in the area, not allowing hot spots and complex security and order issues to form.
As a ward bordering Cambodia, determining that ensuring security on the border line is a key task, the Ward Police coordinated with Vinh Nguon Border Guard Station, Ward Military Command and forces participating in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level to strengthen patrols and inspections to protect border lines and markers; in order to promptly detect and prevent smugglers, illegal exiters, and entry.
Building each citizen as a fortress of security and order
In addition to the work of attacking and suppressing all kinds of crimes, identifying "prevention as key", the Ward Police deployed the motto "going every alley, knocking on every house, searching every target". The work of residence management, grasping people's thoughts and aspirations is also strictly implemented, in order to promptly detect and handle issues that cause instability right from the grassroots level.
Along with that, strengthen forces, organize inspections of boarding houses, guesthouses, and conditional business establishments regarding security and order; in addition to inspection work, the Police force requests business owners to strictly comply with regulations in business operations, closely coordinate with the Police agency, and effectively implement crime prevention and combat and law violations.
Mr. Bui Van Van - owner of Thanh Van 1 guesthouse (Hamlet 8, Chau Doc ward, An Giang province) - shared: "Before the 14th National Congress of the Party, Chau Doc Ward Police regularly came to inspect accommodation work, propagate and remind facility owners about fire prevention and fighting, preventing crimes and social evils that often take advantage of accommodation facilities for criminal activities. Through this, I realize my responsibility in overcoming the shortcomings that the police force pointed out during the inspection process as well as in actively participating in the movement of the whole people protecting national security to ensure security and order for my facility.
In addition, the forces also promote propaganda and mobilization of people in the border area to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, raise vigilance, and prevent sabotage plots of hostile forces, luring, and inciting... It is thanks to the proactiveness of the forces that the security and order situation on the border line is ensured.
