At about 11:40 pm on March 25, a Lexus RX350 car with license plate 30K-201. XX driven by driver V.Q. C. (born in 1987, residing in Hanoi) was moving on Trung Kinh street in the direction from Vu Pham Ham to Duong Dinh Nghe. When arriving at the Trung Kinh - Ha Yen Quyet intersection area (Yen Hoa ward), this car collided with a car with license plate 30L-665. XX.
Not stopping there, the Lexus RX350 car continued to rush into the opposite lane, continuously crashing into 4 cars and 1 motorbike waiting for a red light.
The strong collision caused the Lexus RX350 car to overturn, the front and rear of the car were deformed, and debris was scattered on the road surface. After the accident, functional forces determined that 2 people were injured, including a motorcyclist with broken arms and legs and a passenger on the car with minor injuries.

Immediately after the accident occurred, Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police) sent forces to the scene, coordinating with Yen Hoa Ward Police to handle the incident. The inspection results showed that the driver of the Lexus RX350 car did not violate the alcohol concentration.
Representatives of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 said that functional agencies have determined the initial cause of the chain traffic accident between a Lexus RX350 car and 6 other vehicles on Trung Kinh street. Based on the drivers' testimony and traces at the scene, the initial cause was determined to be that the driver was sleepy and lost control of the steering wheel.
