On the evening of December 29, Quoc Oai Commune People's Committee said that site clearance work in the commune has recorded positive results when all households subject to land recovery in Thuy Khue village unanimously signed minutes of site handover and completed procedures to receive compensation and support money according to regulations.
Accordingly, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Quoc Oai commune has coordinated with commune departments, branches, and mass organizations to directly go to each household to propagate, mobilize, and clearly explain the provisions of law related to land acquisition, compensation, and support according to the 2024 Land Law.
Thanks to doing a good job of mass mobilization, ensuring publicity and transparency in determining land origin, applying compensation prices and implementing support policies, people in Thuy Khue village unified and voluntarily handed over land to implement the Project on Construction of technical infrastructure serving land use right auction at auction point No. 03, Thuy Khue village.
The total area of land handover is 2,132m2, the total amount of compensation and support paid is 1,777,343,300 VND. The payment is made directly at the households of households, under the supervision of representatives of departments, branches, and mass organizations, ensuring correct order, procedures, publicity and transparency.
Previously, as Lao Dong newspaper reported, Quoc Oai Commune People's Committee had issued a notice on the time to organize land recovery coercion to implement the Technical Infrastructure Construction Project to serve the auction of land use rights at the auction point of 03 Thuy Khue villages. Enforcement area at 4 land plots of 3 households. The time to carry out land recovery coercion is at 7:30 am on December 30, 2025.
Thus, right before the time of enforcement, households voluntarily handed over the land and received compensation money.
