According to the report, storm No. 10 killed 1 person (in Duc Thinh commune, due to an accident while repairing house damage) and injured 9 people in wards and communes.

In Ha Tinh province, 42,963 houses were damaged, roofs were blown off and countless auxiliary works were destroyed.

Many industrial plants in Vung Ang Economic Zone were damaged, causing hundreds of billions of VND in damage.

In the agricultural sector, 987 hectares of crops fell and 158 hectares of seafood were flooded. The largest damage was 20 tons of caged fish in Ky Hoa commune that died.

Cam Nhuong dike in Thien Cam commune was eroded 15m, and the Huu Phu and Ta Nghen dykes were also peeling in many places.

Faced with the heavy damage caused by overlapping storms, the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee has just directed the highest concentration, mobilizing maximum forces and means to overcome the consequences.

Organized visits to encourage and support families that suffered heavy losses. Mobilize on-site resources to promptly support the repair and cleaning of houses, schools, public works, environmental sanitation, and disease prevention.

Focus on restoring essential infrastructure, prioritizing traffic routes, power systems, communication, domestic water, irrigation systems, dykes and natural disaster prevention works to ensure smoothness and safety.

Urgently repair schools and medical facilities to ensure conditions for students to go to school, and effectively perform medical examination and treatment for people. Timely support production, especially seeds, capital, and materials to help people restore production.

Party committees and authorities at all levels temporarily suspend unnecessary work to focus on overcoming storms and floods.

Assign leaders to directly direct and be responsible for the progress and results before the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. Tightly control the safety of dams, embankments, and important works, absolutely do not let secondary incidents occur after storms due to floods.

Directly go to the grassroots to direct and urge the Party Committee, commune authorities and units to promptly and effectively implement response and remedial measures.
