On January 20, the 584th Martyrs' Remains Collection Team, Political Department, Military Command of Quang Tri province said that the unit had just discovered another martyr's remains in Trai Ca village, Dakrong commune, Quang Tri province.
Notably, among the artifacts found, there was a glass jar, inside containing a piece of paper with the name "NGUYEN MINH THUAN".
The 584 Martyrs' Remains Collection Team will coordinate with relevant units to conduct a review to verify the identity.

Previously, from January 9 to January 19, in the same area of Trai Ca village, Team 584 for Repatriation of Martyrs' remains discovered and repatriated 4 martyrs' remains. Among these, functional forces found many artifacts, including a pen engraved with the name "VUONG CHI CAO" and motifs of pigeon pairs, coconut trees and Turtle Tower.
The martyrs' remains were discovered in the melaleuca forest area of the people, lying under the soil, along with many other artifacts such as shoe soles, ammunition boxes.
According to the 584 Martyrs' Remains Collection Team, despite the complex mountainous terrain and harsh weather, officers and soldiers still persistently stick to the area, meticulously searching for each location with the desire to soon bring the martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland back to their motherland and families. According to the tomb map, this area has 8 martyrs' remains.
