On January 9, the 584th Martyrs' Remains Collection Team, Political Department, Military Command of Quang Tri province discovered and repatriated 2 martyrs' remains in the area of Trai Ca village, Dakrong commune.
The location where the remains were discovered is in the melaleuca forest area of the people. The martyrs' remains were found under the soil, along with many artifacts such as shoe soles, magazines...
Despite complex mountainous terrain conditions and harsh weather, the gathering force still persistently sticks to the area, meticulously searching for each location with the desire to soon bring the martyrs who sacrificed for the Fatherland back to their motherland and families. According to the tomb map, this area has 8 martyrs' remains.

Currently, all martyrs' remains have been transferred to the unit's headquarters for preservation and incense smoke according to regulations. In the afternoon of the same day, leaders of Dakrong commune came to the repatriation site to offer incense, express gratitude to the heroic martyrs and encourage and visit the soldiers of the Repatriation Team who are on duty.
In the coming days, the 584 Martyrs' Remains Collection Team will continue to expand the search scope, showing determination not to let the heroic martyrs remain in the deep forest.
