On March 28, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Chien - Chairman of the People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward (Ba Dinh District) said that in the ward, there are 80 households that have received compensation and support for resettlement houses that must hand over land to serve the site clearance work to implement the investment project to build Ring Road 1 section Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc. Of which, there are 5 cases of complete revocation and 75 cases subject to cutting.
Recently, working groups of Giang Vo Ward People's Committee have mobilized and propagated to households with land in the area of land clearance that has been approved for compensation, support, resettlement and received compensation, and quickly handed over the land according to regulations. In particular, 58/80 cases of site handover to project investors have been propagandized.
The Chairman of Giang Vo Ward People's Committee said that there are 5 households in the ward that are eligible to temporarily suspend the supply of electricity and water services. Through the process of propaganda and mobilization, 1 household has handed over the site, the remaining 4 households committed to handing over the site on April 1.
"By the end of April 1, if these households do not fulfill their commitments, the working group of the Ward People's Committee will coordinate with Ba Dinh Power Company and the Clean Water Business Enterprise of Ba Dinh and Dong Da districts to stop providing electricity and water services" - Mr. Chien informed.
In Ngoc Khanh ward, Mr. Vien Hai Tue - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee said that after reviewing 37 households, the working group of the Ngoc Khanh Ward People's Committee will coordinate with Ba Dinh Power Company and Ba Dinh District Clean Water Business Enterprise to stop providing electricity and water services to 24 households with houses and land areas subject to site clearance.
Ngoc Khanh Ward has sent a notice on stopping the provision of electricity and water services to households; focusing on stopping electricity and water services of households that have received compensation and resettlement housing support but have not yet handed over the site; some households will agree to extend the time to hand over the site.
"These households have all fulfilled their commitment to hand over the site. We have also announced that from April 2-3, if households do not comply with the commitment, we will temporarily suspend the supply of electricity and water" - Mr. Tue informed.
In Thanh Cong ward, Mr. Nguyen Le Quoc Toan - Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee said that 31 households have been proposed to stop providing electricity and water services to serve the site clearance work for project implementation.
"31 households have fully signed the commitment to hand over the site. The deadline is January 31 - Mr. Toan informed.
After stopping the provision of electricity and water services, if the use of electricity and water from houses and other works is detected, the user and the user will be handled according to the provisions of law.
Previously, Chairman of Ba Dinh District People's Committee Ta Nam Chien said that the District People's Committee had directed the People's Committees of Ngoc Khanh, Thanh Cong, Giang Vo wards to coordinate with the investor of the investment project to build the Ring Road 1 section Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc to stop providing electricity and water services to households subject to site clearance but not yet handed over according to regulations.
According to the Chairman of Ba Dinh District People's Committee, the suspension of electricity and water services will be carried out in areas with sufficient conditions. Currently, some households have agreed to hand over the land after the working group directly mobilized, propagated and persuaded.
In the wards of Ngoc Khanh, Thanh Cong, Giang Vo, the deadline has now passed, but some households have not yet handed over the land to implement the investment project to build Ring Road 1 section Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc in the area.
