Initial information, the above fire occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on August 2, at the Club Sky bar on Nguyen Van Troi Street, Ward 2, Bao Loc City.
At that time, when the welder was welding iron on the roof, sparks shot into the soundproofing foam, causing a fire. Many people present at the scene promptly fled to safety.
People then used mini fire extinguishers equipped at the shop to put out the fire. However, because the ceiling was mainly made of soundproof foam, the fire still smoldered inside.
Receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team (Fire Prevention and Rescue) Region 3 of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police dispatched 2 fire engines with nearly 20 officers and soldiers present.
In addition, the unit also coordinated with Bao Loc City Police to access the scene and deploy fire extinguishing measures.
After about 30 minutes of approaching the scene, professional firefighting forces completely controlled and extinguished the fire. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human damage.
Currently, Bao Loc city authorities are assessing the damage and investigating to clarify the cause of the fire.
For a long time, Club Sky bar has been closed for repairs and construction of some fire prevention items. Currently, the shop owner has completed the construction of items and fire protection system equipment as required, when the above fire occurred.
