On July 27, the leader of Hung Son commune, Da Nang city - said that the working group of Da Nang city led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, visited the people's house directly to visit and provide emergency support.
In the villages of A Tu 1, H'Juh, Phat... that suffered the most damage, Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha kindly visited and deeply shared the losses that the people had to endure.

On behalf of the leaders of Da Nang City, Mr. Ha presented direct support to households: 5 million VND for each household whose house was completely collapsed and 2 million VND for households whose roofs were blown off over 50%.
At the same time, it is recommended that local authorities closely monitor the situation, absolutely do not let anyone lack food or clothing and urgently review areas at high risk of landslides.
"Da Nang's support at this time is extremely valuable, helping people have more money to buy roofing panels and materials to rebuild their houses before the big storm season is coming," said Mr. So Lam Buon - Chairman of Hung Son Commune People's Committee.

Previously, the sudden thunderstorm that occurred in the early morning of July 22 swept everything away on its way. The whole Hung Son commune had 2 completely collapsed houses of Mr. Po Loong Thoong Van's family (A Tu 1) and Mr. A Lang Rong (H'Juh village). In addition, 36 other houses had their roofs blown off over 50%, pushing many families into the scene of the sky and the ground.
Immediately after the natural disaster, more than 50 officers and soldiers of the border guards, police, and militia were mobilized to help people clean up and rebuild their houses. The commune government has also provided initial support of 1 million VND to each affected household.

Although transporting materials to the highlands is still difficult due to heavy rain, with the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", Co Tu people are helping each other with every meal and blanket.
"The commune is making every effort, with the support of Da Nang and other forces, we strive to basically stabilize housing for people by mid-August, so that no one has to live in poverty," Mr. Buon affirmed.
