HCMC - Dong Dong forged people to return to HCMC to work after the holiday, the section passing National Highway 1 (Binh Chanh District) was crowded with vehicles, moving slowly.

On the last day of the April 30 - May 1 holiday, people from all over the Western provinces returned to Ho Chi Minh City to work and study. According to Lao Dong at around 6:00 p.m. on May 4, through National Highway 1 (Binh Chanh District), thousands of vehicles moved slowly, causing congestion.

Not only motorbikes, but passenger buses also lined up for hundreds of meters to take people back to Ho Chi Minh City to work. Ms. Nguyen Thanh Nga said that traveling from Tien Giang to Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Chanh District was delayed because of the large number of vehicles. "I thought everyone was up since yesterday, so now there will be less crowds, but unexpectedly, Ho Chi Minh City is still stuck," said Ms. Nga.
