On the morning of April 25th, at Mien Tay Bus Station (An Lac ward), the atmosphere became busier than usual as crowds continuously flocked to buy tickets and wait for buses to go to the Mekong Delta provinces for holidays.
The ticket counter is always crowded with people coming in and out, passengers line up to buy tickets and ask for flight information. Especially in the Phuong Trang ticket sales area, the number of customers increased sharply, many times it was packed, and staff had to work continuously to meet the sudden increase in travel demand.

Inside the station, the waiting area is full. Many passengers carrying luggage sit in rows of seats, others stand concentrated near the bus door, continuously monitoring information to wait for their turn to get on the bus to go home.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam (from Can Tho), a 3rd-year student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, said that this year's holiday is long, so he arranged to return to his hometown early. Although he booked tickets in advance, Mr. Tam still had to wait quite a long time due to the high number of customers.
Today there are still many people going to work, so it's not too crowded, I'm taking advantage of going home early to reduce congestion," Mr. Tam said.
Similarly, Ms. Tran Thi Huyen (from Ca Mau), a 2nd year student, said she is excited to return to her hometown after a long time studying in Ho Chi Minh City. Being present at the bus station early, Huyen took the opportunity to get on the bus to have time to reunite with her family.
This year I have 9 days off, so I'm looking forward to it, I want to go home early so I can have more time to be with my loved ones," Huyen shared.

Not only students, many workers also take advantage of extending their holidays. Mr. Le Quang Thang (Bay Hien ward) said that he has asked for 2 more days off to return to his hometown in Dong Thap, increasing the total holiday time to 9 days.
Having long holidays, I came home early, stayed longer with my family before returning to work," Mr. Thang said.
According to records, the parking area continuously has vehicles entering and leaving, and coordinating staff are operating continuously to ensure order. Although the number of passengers has increased sharply, security at the station is still maintained stably.

According to the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, during the Hung Kings Commemoration and April 30 - January 1 holidays of this year, the traffic order and safety situation in the city is forecast to be complicated, with the risk of increased congestion at the gateways into and out of the city. Functional forces recommend that people proactively choose suitable routes to travel.
