After the election, the People's Councils (HĐND) at all levels in Hung Yen province will hold the first meeting to elect leadership positions. This is an important step to quickly put the government apparatus into stable operation, creating a foundation for the implementation of key tasks in the new term.
Mr. Le Xuan Tien - Standing Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Council - emphasized that the People's Council not only has the task of issuing policies but also has to closely supervise their implementation. "The People's Council needs to follow up to the end the policies that have been issued, avoiding cases of supervision but the effectiveness achieved is not as expected" - Mr. Tien said.
A new point in this term is the promotion of the supervisory role of each delegate. Delegates are encouraged to proactively grasp the situation at the grassroots level, directly participate in supervision and propose handling arising issues. This approach helps the People's Council to be more connected with reality, while enhancing the personal responsibility of each delegate.

Along with that, the work of training and fostering delegates is given more attention. In the context of increasingly complex tasks, delegates need to improve their capacity to supervise, analyze policies and grasp socio-economic issues. "Delegates must understand to be able to supervise and speak. Therefore, improving capacity is very important" - Mr. Tien emphasized.
After the merger, Hung Yen province set a goal of double-digit economic growth - a challenging target. To achieve this goal, the province focuses on effectively exploiting development potential and building a suitable investment attraction strategy.
Mr. Tien said that the province will prioritize attracting high-tech projects with high added value and environmentally friendly, while gradually replacing labor-intensive and low-value industries. However, attracting investment is not simple now, because businesses carefully consider factors such as infrastructure, costs and investment environment.
One of the important solutions is to promote infrastructure investment, especially inter-regional connecting traffic routes. When infrastructure is improved, logistics costs decrease, and investment attraction will increase. At the same time, the province orients the development of large-scale economic zones and industrial parks in the Southern region, creating new growth poles and contributing to balancing development between regions.

In parallel with economic development, environmental issues are prioritized. The province will strengthen the supervision of businesses, especially in wastewater and exhaust gas treatment. "We require industrial parks to have automatic monitoring systems, strictly controlling from input to output, ensuring no environmental pollution," Mr. Tien affirmed.
These orientations show the determination of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Council in building a streamlined and effective apparatus, combining economic development with environmental protection, improving supervision efficiency and serving the best interests of the people. In the new context, the People's Council will be a substantive supervision center, ensuring that policies are implemented in the right direction, promptly and effectively.
