On March 21, General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense, Head of Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 16 chaired the Conference to approve the draft report on the results of supervision for the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
At the conference, representatives of Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 16 approved the draft report on the results of inspection and supervision of the implementation of Directive No. 01 of the Politburo on researching, studying, thoroughly grasping, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the Action Program to implement the Resolution; Directive No. 46 of the Politburo on leading the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee has led and drastically directed the thorough grasp and implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress to ensure timeliness, synchronization, and efficiency.
At the same time, advising the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee to issue an Action Program; directing Party committees and Party organizations to develop Action Programs to implement Resolutions associated with the actual situation of localities and units.
In addition, propagate and widely disseminate to officials, party members and people in the province about the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Speaking at the conference, General Phan Van Giang praised Lai Chau province for successfully organizing the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, with a voter turnout rate of 99.93%.
The General acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in implementing political tasks, socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security in difficult conditions.
At the same time, it is proposed that the province continue to thoroughly grasp the spirit of "deep understanding - doing right - doing it to the end" in implementing the Party Congress Resolutions at all levels; focusing on foreign affairs, military affairs, and national defense.
Besides, it is to complete the Action Program to implement the Resolution with specific solutions suitable to the actual situation in the locality. Uphold the spirit of self-reliance, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, and daring to take responsibility of Party committees and local authorities at all levels.
At the same time, continue to implement Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation to contribute to the implementation of the double-digit growth target.
